Have about 5 pounds of macadamia nuts in the shell. How do i roast them?

easy to do, I spend 1/2 hour with a hammer cracking and chasing them

In Australia and Hawaii were there most cultivated, they have industrail

alternatively, i think if you got some oak or maple, just slightly less  
thick than the diameter of the nut, & drilled a hole that would  
accommodate a nut, you might get away with putting the thing on something  
like steel plate, or sidewalk, & hitting it so that the board stopped the  
hammer from creating weird peanut butter. i don't know, but this seems  
like it might work. write & let me know.  
 
OR, if you had a good vise, you could take that same board, put the nut in  
it, & squeeze.  
you probably really do need to board, no matter what you use to put
